After many years of needing an updated website, it's finally happened! Thanks to the leadership and grit of Nancy Stoddard, I was able to follow her lead on a project that had lost most of it's momentum. The new website offers a streamlined way for the layperson to easily navigate the site to find excatly what they need without the fuss of digging. Todd Cummings of Union Street Media in Burlington, Vermont - a design genius in my book, spearheaded the beautiful layout and design, and after many panic attacks, I was finally able to get this Joomla!™ website to look like the Photoshop designs Todd supplied me with. I think he's the only designer I ever said, "No, you can't do that" to!

Yes, it has finally come - Huntington has a new town website! The website committee hopes that the new site will not only make it easier for you to find town related information, but also entice you to frequent the site. Here is a summary of some the new features:
- New look and feel that engages the visitor in the beauty of our town.
- Better navigation so that you can more easily find what you are looking for.
- More information about committees, commissions, boards, the town office, and the community.
- Town Events Calendar allowing anyone to submit an event
- Photo Gallery of Huntington's scenic beauty.
We hope to continue to evolve the site to include:
- A business directory
- Ride sharing
- Submit a photo
- and many more ways to engage the community.
And lastly, there are many Huntington resident volunteers who have spent many hours on the new site and will continue to support and evolve it.
- Todd Cummings - Todd created the design (look and feel) of the new site and uploaded many beautiful photos to our photo gallery. Todd is the Creative Director at Union Street Media.
- Will Keyworth - Will implemented the design into the technical backend of the site and has an ongoing role as our technical advisor. Will runs Keyworth Graphics where he is Creative Director/Web designer.
- Nancy Stoddard - Nancy provides project management, user requirements definition, and technical development skills to the site. Under Will's guidance, Nancy has taken on the bulk of the technical, behind the scenes work. She has also spent countless hours populating the site with all the information available to a site visitor. Nancy heads up the web team.
- Heidi Racht - Heidi has provided content and input/review of the site design. In the past she has uploaded documents to the site such as minutes.
- Dan Stoddard - Dan provided content, input/review of the site, and editing of web pages. He currently oversees the town calendar and helps to ensure that the site content is up to date. And thanks to the many committee and board volunteers who provided the content for the site.
