Andover Youth Foundation ©2011 - All Rights ReservedMany years ago, I was introduced to a 'green' architect named, Mark Yanowitz, of Verdeco Designs, through the creative director at PDI Creative in Burtlington, Vermont. The introduction came about as a referral to assist Mr. Yanowitz with the maintenance of his static html website that PDI had developed for him, complete with branding done by one of my freelance graphic designers, Michael Cronin, of Gr8Design.Biz.

Over the years, Mark has provided me with work on a steady basis, and always knew he could count on Keyworth Graphics to deliver under a tight deadline, with quality that's unsurpassed in this business.

Recently, well, like two days ago, he called with another time sensitive project - a referral for the Andover Youth Foundation, in Andover, Massachusetts. Mark explained that they were in a time crunch to raise donations through a website (via Paypal) in order to mesh with the giving, holiday season. As we currently were under no stressful deadline Keyworth Graphics agreed to take on this 'quick and classy' job as we always LOVE a challenge. We went above and beyond what was asked, and installed a Joomla™ Content Management System so AYF could easily update the site, complete with slick pop-up windows displaying the architects' plans, and renderings of proposed building sites and images, a feature to thwart images being downloaded (disable right-click), as well as a simple calculator on their message form that will only allow for humans to come up with the answer before they can send their message via web page form, meaning no "spam".

White Mountain Yurts - Website Redesign - Art Direction, Michael Cronin - gr8design.biz

CALLING ALL YURT ENTHUSIASTS!

Well after a year and a half, a marketing guy and fantastic graphic designer, MICHAEL CRONIN of gr8design.biz got a hold of the website I had redesigned in 2009 for Paul Desrochers at White Mountain Yurts, and made thing of utmost beauty. He realized that the target audience I had been designing for liked something with a little more lightness than dark and came up with a beautiful template design for this Joomla™ based website design.

This forced all of us to think outside of the box - to borrow a term used by Michael to draw in a particular crowd. After assessing what needed to happen, Michael approached Keyworth Graphics as he knew we'd be able to take his idea and his designs and make them so they worked within a content management framework without compromising the layout or design of his new creation.

Needless to say, the folks at White Mountain Yurts were and are very thrilled with the new website

Mary C. Zarba - HeadFirst ConsultingI met Mary in North Truro, Massachusetts while working on my laptop at the Adventure Bound Campground. We became fast friends and after working our businesses side by side for a few weeks, as the campground internet was down, we wound up working on a few projects replacing hardware for the campground, as well.

I came to know Mary as a serious business woman. Though she's equipped with many years of experience in the healthcare and consulting industry, she can still balance a rugged work schedule with a dynamic, and fun lifestyle with seemingly little effort.

She engaged Keyworth Graphics in a website project that features a single-page website - all of the content is presented, via JavaScript in a series of modules that slide and move away to reveal new sections of her website - CLICK HERE TO VISIT NOW!

Well, after many years, one of my first big clients, Vermont Precision Tools, in Swanton VT, decided to have their website redesigned and updated. Keyworth Graphics was contacted by VPT about this project, as they needed to update their current version of Joomla™ to 1.5.

The website has been launched, and my customers are tickled pink at the results!

rbj_grab_thumbFinally, I landed my first local job here in Provincetown. My Captain Rory, with whom I mate for on her sailboat, dropped my name to another captain on MacMillan Wharf, who sails aboard the Schooner Rachel B. Jackson, as he had mentioned he needed some website help. He called me, and within a week I had built for him a beautiful site with a nautical theme. His main desire was to have a way for folks to book their charters online. So with some investigating, I found the perfect solution, and he'll be taking orders real soon.

For being a salty old dog, the Captain said he, "...really loves the new site..." WOW!
